Mini-Retreat Program (Winter Version)
30 Arrival, time for introductions and change clothes.
45 The Yoga class will happen on my back garden, preferably no socks or mats to get in touch with the ground, but I can provide towels if required. Expect to be occasionally distracted by my cats, the tortoises and the occasional plane. We start with breath-led movement adapted to the level of the group with a thorough warm up to loosen all the tissues and prepare the body to flow with stability and ease. Expect to be challenged in your assumptions of what yoga looks like. The class will end with relaxation, breathwork and meditation. Groups are 5 people maximum so I can give some attention to each participant and to ensure social distancing.
15 Time to unwind and enjoy the quietness of the place. You can read, journal, take a walk around the residence, take a dip in the heated pool or simply lie in the sun. There is also plenty of shade. Meanwhile, I’ll be in the kitchen for finishing touches, being a good host and also winding down.
30 A three-course vegetarian meal cooked and served by myself (good home cook with professional cooking certification). My cooking is mostly Mediterranean, influenced by my Iberian roots and from living in Morocco. Menus vary according to season and mood. Everybody around the table, sharing food, stories, connecting to fellow humans. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have for me on Yoga and Morocco and other relevant matters. I’m also good at providing conversation subjects making sure everyone enjoys it.
h30 THE END for now but hope our paths will cross again!
